This song of hers is nearly 18 years old but the lyrics are super deep and I heard her for the first time, this morning. My sweetie shared it with me on Spotify, but I found a bootleg copy of her singing it at a club back in 2007. I love the lyrics, her voice and the steel slide guitar . My years long friendship with my best friend came to an end when she told me that they watched the “kKk” half time show rather than Bad Bunny and all the LGBTQ Super Stars…. Because, according to my now-ex friend, “Bad Bunny sang unhearable lyrics.” I was like, “oh, you don’t enjoy singers singing about love and acceptance??” That’s when I had no problemo chopping her out of my life. Lol (or not).
