Let's see....
Yesterday it was a beautifully written, heartfelt card that came with a box of special goodies. Today, a very pretty surprise bouquet of multi-colored Gerbera daisies, and I got sung to twice....once in English and once in Spanish.
I'm beginning to feel a little spoiled...or something.

Getting a lot accomplished today...
Having quality time with friends... Working together to finish a project that's needed done for a while now. Reading a story about an 80 year old homeless woman that recently won a long battle with the SSA and is being awarded over $100K...I'm so happy for her and hope she is able to enjoy her life now that she can have a home again. Enjoying life on the farm today. Watching my hummingbirds be feisty. Listening to a friend that's shown deep, sincere concern for me. Ending my evening with a smile and a good feeling in my soul.

After months of losing weight and watching the inches along with the pounds fall I cleaned out my closet of all the clothes I couldn't wear anymore. Then replacing them with pants and shirts any were from two to three sizes smaller.
All the good clothes are packed away to give to the flood victims but some will go to the good will hear as well. Now to keep on with the weight loss program, I now know I can lose this weight and how to do it. |

It was actually last night, right before bedtime: my youngest son called me. I hasn't seen or heard from him since July 4th. A very close friend of mine actually bumped into him at an post office, visited with him for a bit, got his phone number, then she called me to say that he asked if I'd send him a text, so he'd have my number (again). Then he called me. Such joy. I've missed him so much, and he's doing remarkably well.
