In honor of Fat Tuesday, I am making my Homemade Chicken, Sausage and Shrimp Gumbo, served over a hot bowl of steamed rice. For dessert I will serve King Cake Cupcakes (with a hidden little baby jesus doll, of course!)

Having friends over tonite, then will freeze a good portion of the gumbo for my butch, for when she gets back into town next week.

we had...

Warthogs in a blanket (his name for them) which is hotdogs and cheese wrapped in a fridge crescent and baked... he says that pigs in a blanket are made with mini wienies... these ones are bigger so they have to be warthogs...

Broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots in a microwave steamer bag

AND FOR DESERT... Chocolate cinnamon buns.
