Let's see ...

– I'm gonna start with Beyonce's Lemonade video (I'll have that running in the background at work while I drink from my Beyonce mug). I wish I had something yellow and lemony to wear today, but I don't.

– Then I'll listen to Billie Holiday's Complete Decca Recordings. I've never listened to it from top to bottom. I will today.

– Then I'll listen to some of my favorite comedians including Moms Mabley, Red Fox, Richard Pryor (Little Feets is on the play list!), Paul Mooney, Lenny Bruce, Sommore.

– I'll probably end my music day with Biggie and Tupac.

Yesterday I kept listening to a Ray LaMontagne song, but today I gravitated toward a collection of songs by Dallas Green.
Then I finally caved and quit listening to music at all and just turned on this music box, of sorts, that doesn't play music but just streams ocean surf. It's the best kind of 'white' noise that helps me to unwind and quit thinking....
