I'm a touch tired (more like exhausted). I logged over 72 clock hours of work this past week. Killer overtime, though.
I am eating breakfast now too, so soon I won't feel so shakey. I was serious ravenous, but I needed to sleep first. I'm all good to go now.

I am experiencing multiple feelings currently. I feel stressed, guilty, sad, depressed, angry and a tad crazy.
My mom was diagnosed with cancer in July and has been having chemo weekly. My sisters and brothers all live near by but I am 8 hours away. She is being a real trooper and I call and check up on her regularly but I feel bad for not being there. She missed her chemo last week because her numbers were low and then had to have an emergency visit to the eye doctor and found out she has a pocket of blood behind her left eye. If it isn't gone in 3 weeks she has to have surgery. I moved to Atlanta a year ago and I could kick myself in the ass for making the decision to move here. I have a job that is way more stressful than it should be, the traffic is insane and I am missing my family. Where's a redo button when you need one? |

I just got off work, but my day went really well: I got unexpected really good news on a situation that was spiraling out of control, seemingly, since Labor Day weekend, but it feels good that this issue was resolved to my satisfaction.
I'm glad that today didn't have too many troubles and that I can actually drift off to sleep and know that a really big trouble is no longer a big trouble. <<<~~~ My heart is happy.

Tired but happy....
I took myself out to dinner and trivia..on a school night...lol I tried a new beer and had conversations with a new meetup group.... And spent time in what is sure to be a comfy bar hangout spot..especially if we do trivia weekly from now on....
