When we got to the airport she didn't leave until I got through TSA and she could no longer see me...I kept looking back and there she was, and it meant a lot to me, because leaving her was just so damn hard...I appreciate every moment with her...and I am looking forward to so much more...
She posted a song for me tonight, and it made me cry happy tears...I am a lucky woman, and I love where we are, who we are together, who we are as individuals, and the direction we are going...she makes my heart sing

In 1982 I enlisted in the United States Army at 17 years old. There was nothing that I loved better than being a soldier. The starch of my uniform, boots so shiny that I could see my smile in them, mud and rain and tears and pain and pride. In this world I only love God and my family more. While I admit my enlistment initially was simply a means of getting away from here and the oppressive tyranny of my parents household, it became something much bigger than me almost immediately. As I walked the grounds of Yorktown, Gettysburg, Appomattox, Dachau, Berlin, and so many other places where Americans fell and fought for, I knew I was honored more than I deserved. Because of them. This isn't Veteran's Day. Don't thank me. I didn't do shit. I put on a uniform and showed up to work every day. Today is the day for them. Those that gave all. |

 You know when you think you know someone, I mean, really think you know them... But you realize that you knew nothing and I mean NOTHING about them, really is like taking a knife to the heart... Then you find out that what you assumed, is not even close to it. Now mind you, only friends, but a friend I thought close to, that I worried about... Then you go and die, and leave me with so many unanswered questions that I will never get an answer too! That sucks, I hate holding onto answers that can't be answered, I still don't know how to let those go and now it will be a arrow protruding out my side. All of us here on East Coast being affected by Tropical Storm Beryl!!
Holding all my friends on the East Coast being affected by Tropical Storm Beryl at this moment...
Jacksonvill and Jax Beach.FL is having some nasty 65 MPH winds, some have, and many are expected to, lose power with this storm. It is headed my way....sometime later tonight it is supposed to hit me.......we are...at this moment, predicted to have winds of 27 to 35 MPH and some power outages...I sure hope I don't lose power BUT if I do..I do have candles and flashlights ready..... Holding all of you close in my heart and thoughts...please stay safe.....and be aware... These storms at night are much harder as any tornadoes that could spawn off are not known until they hit..can't see those funnel clouds in the dark...  .Love and safe wishes for you all....Clay

Sleep is on my mind,at 4:08am I should be sawing logs not on this puter,the fur kids are out takeing care of buisness while im up.Ive been takeing care of a sick pup that was ok this morning but not so much an hour later and for the love of me I have no idea what she got hold of,she is in the "put everything in my mouth" part of puppy hood.Pup is better and back in.So im going to try for a fue ZZZZZzzzzzz's of possable.
