I hear the woman across the way yelling and screaming at her kids all day long. I know it must be frustrating being home with the children all day, but to actually scream at the top of your lungs at 2 kids under 5 years old. I feel is so wrong. Parents get frustrated, I can understand that, however to me that is child abuse....maybe not physical but, emotional abuse. The scars left behind from emotional abuse are not always physically visable, but they sure do hurt like hell. Ok enough said......

Amen, it never does get old for that first glimpse.

What would be even better is when I wouldn't need to wait for my butch to get off the plane ever again because we would be in the same locale.

Aw....... Andi and I DO live in the same house. At least, technically speaking, we do. She is a travelling nurse and is gone from Monday through Thursday. We get plenty of airport time. This week she is in Tampa, FL....next week though job is actually in Chicago so I'll have the pleasure of her company for the entire week.

The adjustment back and forth is sometimes a challenge. You know....I get used to doing things a certain way during the week. My regular routine. When she comes home or when she leaves again it throws everything off for a day or two. 3 routines can be a tough juggle. (Away, Home, Weekend)

It's worth it to me though. She loves her career. I don't know many people (including myself) that can say that. Hey I make good money and I don't hate it. That's about it.......but her? She loves what she does, she loves travelling and seeing new exciting places, the people at her job treat her well (the company is gay-owned). Honestly, I wouldn't want anything else for her as long as she continues to get the enjoyment she does out of her career.

We had 5 people in the shop terminated yesterday for theft of company property...caught on camera. The owner of the company somehow found mercy and did not send them to jail...all have families...sigh. I am very sad for all of them.

My girlfriend.

She is going through a terrible time with work right now. She is in between positions, and feels like her current boss is trying to push her out early before the other position is available so he can get the new person in trained. She also has a co-worker who is extremely emotionally abusive and it's becoming too much. She also commutes 2 hours each way for work everyday which doesn't
make it easier on her. She has an amazing opportunity that she has worked so hard for down the pipeline and she is hanging on by her fingernails to get there. Two years of school, 3.9 GPA, honors graduate, she deserves this! She broke out in hives yesterday due to the stress so she went to the doctor. Her blood pressure is through the roof and she is exhausted. Doctor recommended she take 2 weeks off for stress and blood pressure, but she is only taking one day off (of course, I am going to work on her staying home the rest of the week).

I know if this position that she deserves so bad doesnt come through, she will be fine. She is the most amazing person I have ever met. I was helping her with her resume yesterday and smiled thinking of what an amazing life she has led. She was in a band with a recording contract, produced by Rikki Rocket of Poison, private investigator, payroll supervisor of a huge bank, manager of home depot (of course, lol), 3D animation artist for video games, movies and television where she won an Emmy (yeah!), and now works with lawyers at a huge medical facility in LA negotiating clinical trials with physicians who want to get drugs on the market. She is a jack of all trades. She is amazing!

And she did all this and never graduated high school, dropping out in the 10th grade. Her mom was sick and she had to work to support them. She recieved her GED 10 years ago, at the age of 38.

She doesn't need to worry because she will be successful in wherever the future takes her. She always is. <3

On my mind is how to move forward. I got to a point I've never gotten to before and I don't know what to do. In these situations I usually listen to my heart but my mind is really in disagreement. I wonder how it will turn out?
