What is on my mind huh?

The idea that I'm feeling a little mind fkd....
I'm in a weird space this morning. Dreams with messages tend to do that to me, especially those that are riddle-fied. If only my kindness and gentleness weren't mistaken as naivety and ignorance. It's sad to see others think they're pulling one over on me. It just isn't a pretty image.

Guess I'll be lost in thought most of the day working to solve the riddle. Good thing I'll be tucked away in the shelter kitchen keeping busy...

be careful what you wish for! this cross country jaunt of mine is turning into an eye opener of a whole different sort than i could have ever imagined. fascinating thing, travel. do it with others and you're constantly engaged or entertained. do it by yourself and it becomes a contemporary vision quest. It's a big day. Not worried about Friday the 13th. This is almost two years in the making. Ready to rock my exam and move forward with my life. There has been so much that has brought me here, just being grateful and hopeful.

Finding stability where I stand instead of constantly running away or toward something intangible... Home life is better. Communication is better. And the career move is about to make this really intersting. Promotion at work means daylight hours, real weekends off and possibly some real time with family and friends. The scary part of that is, I'll finally see who I have left as friends ... up until now they've had the excuse that my schedule made it difficult to socialize. I guess I'll learn over the next few months who my real peeps are ... I really hope I'm not disappointed.

All I have been able to think about today is Little Rock! That, and going out this Friday to meet a new group of people that meet up once a month...I am hoping to fit right in and make friends! It would be nice to feel like I fit in around here somewhere!
