Those babies, I mean teens, at the shelter made me smile today!!

It's apparent that it's not the actual food that's prepared but the idea that they have adults in their life that care about their well-being and legitimately, them.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup is really not that difficult to make but the thanks and praise was as if I had fixed them a seven course gourmet meal...

So I finally got a kayak today. I wanted to get one that both me and the 6'6" Boy could use. So it's a 12' bohemoth. So in trying to find somewhere to put it in our tiny <600sqft apartment wasn't easy. It's currently shoved between my bed and the wall blocking my A/C. So I have this convo with the ex via text:

Me: I think im going 2 get rid of my bed. Realistically I can sleep on the sofa just as well.
Her: Dork. Just get a smaller bed.
Her: Put a lid on it and become the vampire you've always wanted to be!

bwahahahaha That just cracked me up.

Picking up my sweetie at work, going to a bbq. Dani playing with new kids, grown ups chatting. Swatting away mosquitoes, my feet propped on hys lap, sweet smiles and longing gazes. Packing up, coming home, relaxing with a movie, the general sprout... biding our time to bed time!
