If there is anything that frustrates me, it's complicated bi or multilingual product instructions mixed with English.
If I wanted French, I'd move to Paris, by my stuff there and learn to read instructions in French over a few bottles of Clos du Gaimont Vouvray, stocked in my cupboards. Until then, just send the product info in English. |

I usually put up two trees in this big house, but last year I tossed one. The lights weren't working on it. I was tired of stringing lights thru it. So out it went.
Well this year, I couldn't remember if I actually tossed it out. But, I had. So only one tree. It's that tree from that one and only Black Friday sale. Well, it's up. It looks cute. BUT..pisses me off..the lights aren't all working. So ya want to see my beautiful tree with no lights the upper quarter of the tree? Kinda like this, but cute~~~~>

Just ordered sweat pants from www.ae.com (American Eagle) The men's are low-waisted, fit great and very comfortable. Can't forget deep front pockets - your stuff won't fall out.
They had 50% off everything today. Just plug in the coupon code they provided. I had to get all heather gray color because the dark gray were all sold out in size small. They had plenty of small dark gray ones this morning. Should have placed the order early a.m. before work! |

Yeah, I'm pissed. If you aren't up for a rant and some foul language, you should skip this one, lol.
Apparently, there are too many non-operable, unregistered vehicles in the apartment complex where I reside. (I have no idea where. I've certainly not noticed any; though parking here always has been a nightmare).
There were notices plastered to everyone's doors yesterday. I asked the manager about it this morning [mostly to plead for leniency as I am always behind on these trivialities] and he said that it is being done by the towing company?!? WTF? So now towing companies just get to wander around in people's private parking spaces tagging vehicles to drum up some more revenue for themselves? Are you fucking kidding me? Isn't that unconstitutional or something?!? [I would like it noted, purely for the record, that I am not only indignant on my own behalf. I would be equally infuriated if my car were currently legal, lol] I am so pissed right now. And this place where we reside is no dump. We all pay quite a bit of money for these apartments - not that this should be going on anywhere at any price point under any circumstances. Fuck them! They can kiss.my.ass. I will sooo take this all the way up to the Supreme Court. And I will. I have nothing left to lose. So just try me, motherfuckers. Just try. This is an egregious conflict of interest. Hey towing company....  ETA: I found out about this just 5 minutes after I made a more pleasant post. A little incident after work ...
Sometimes after work, I go cruise the nearby industrial park on my way home. I enjoy my woodworking hobby a great deal and always find nice pieces of wood over there behind businesses. You would not believe what they throw out. Perfectly good 2 x 4's , other miscellaneous boards in great condition. The owners of a dozen or so places have all told me to take all of it. They are happy for me to come by. It saves them from having to pay to dispose of it. IouAnyway, I was loading a couple of pieces on my truck. Suddenly 4 men charged out on a dock beside where I was. I was friendly, said hello, told them my name and asked how they were doing. Then I said the guy next door to them had told me to help myself to all the wood I wanted. That is when Mr. Hateful Intimindator demanded for me to tell him the name of the guy who said I could have the wood. Of course I did not know that man's name and told him I didn't. This guy acted so ugly and since I do not intimidate well, I started working more slowly, measuring and examining each piece closely. I did this because I knew he wanted to frighten me into leaving so he could have his boys see that he really "showed me." He kept it up, trying to act the tough guy, said he was looking after his friend. I said since they were friends, to call the man at home and verify what I said. But he just wanted to continue to pick a fight. I finally said, "Look pal, call the police now and I will wait right here until they arrive. No, he did not want to do that. He decided he wanted to get my plate numbers on my truck. I said, here, I will turn the lights on so you won't have to go in for a flashlight. And I did. Then I told him my name again so he could write it down. He then told me I was acting guilty. That is when I started laughing at him - ask him if he had sought treatment for his paranoid delusions. I said the most assy things I could think of in a joking way. He went inside and I finished tying the wood down. Then, I had to go back one last time for seek out and annoy purposes - I honestly was unable to help myself. I stood at the bottom of his dock and yelled in really loud, "Hey, Buddy, can I ask you something?" He and his boys came around a shelving unit. I told him I had been feeding stray cats behind here and did he mind. He said not at all and take them all home with me. I thanked him and left. Later, when I got home, I called the non violent police number and talked to a woman cop. I gave her my name, described the incident and asked her if there was anything I needed to do regarding the situation. She said no, there was not anything to worry about, that the guy was just bullying me. |

me mate's partner has been off work about a month wit' a bum knee, hurt it playin' soccer. all his co-workers have been pickin' up his workload whilst he's been off.
he was in our office yesterday, as was one of his colleagues. she was askin' him if he could cover some hours on boxing day and new years day as she has family comin' in and would like to spend time wit' them. he doesn't even stop to consider it, simply blurts out "nope, it's a holiday." i couldn't keep me mouth shut, said "well, you're a real team player." again, ungrateful bastid...
