Oh lord that a loaded question: I am realizing what a fantastic wife i have. Love her with all my heart and soul. I realize that i have no drama in my life, that it is very simple and boring but that ok. I have everything that i wanted in life, a loving butch, two awesome kids and a nice little home life. It really surpising how u take that for granted until u take a weekend off and away from them. U tend to find that u miss the heck out of them when they are not with u. Well that was what was on my mind this morning.

I have been on this diet all week. Thinking of Popeyes Chicken.

I cant have it... I want two breasts mashed potatoes and dirty rice with a biscuit. I have to be good I cant be bad.

My Mom...three years ago today she was released from the hospital to come home to die. The doctors told us she had about 6 months but Mom had other plans. She died 12 days after coming home.

Now that my personal/public/work lives have stablized I am able to grieve her death. This is so wierd because I am going through this alone. What is a healed over scab for the rest of the family (Because I was following Mom's request that I make sure everyone was OK after she was gone and because I was so busy in my former job and with all the LGBT committes and boards I was serving on.) is now a fresh wound for me. The family doesn't understand and I don't expect them to. Fortunately Shelia, my boss and most of my friends do.

It's not a case of bad versus good and self-denial rarely works. Try to compromise. KFC has those boxes with grilled breasts and two sides. Maybe that would take some of the edge off of your craving OR just eat what you want and work out extra hard to help compensate for the extra calories. Compromise is the key!

But its not about anyt chicken breasts... Popeyes is the shiznit. If you never had it. Well its hard to explain. Its awesome. And the craving is for them. And those KFC grilled breasts are nasty.

But you are right. Compromise is the key. So I should allow myself to do that on sat and the rest of the week be good
