A friend who took time to listen....
My mother being very pleased with the garden flags we got her.... Getting things in order... Being able to go where I need to..and soon where I want to... AND Good news from the vet! Cricket is now heart worm free! She can be spayed and have her teeth cleaned...she is going to be on steroids for her skin condition, but the doctor feels that the lumps in her belly are mammary in nature and should resolve when she is fixed.... |

I woke up happy with a spring in my step!
Today was busy at work but not so much that I didn't get a break now and then. I had a delicious homemade lunch, enjoyed a nice walk to the bus while daydreaming, and my mind was feeding off of my floating energy to successfully assist my plans with current/future projects. I finished the grocery shopping in an hour and I managed to save about 65 dollars to get through the rest of this month and part of next. Did I mention how nice it feels to get a hot shower after a long day? I am now going to relax, put away the food and enjoy some dark chocolate and tea. |

Hearing my grandson's story-telling.
 He shared that his baby sister was in the Diaper Derby races today and made it to the finals but that she didn't win because mommy wasn't holding her bottle up like the other baby's mommy did. My daughter said Nezzie was in the lead till that happened... lol. P.S He wants to be in the Diaper Derby races next time. "Awwwww, but you stopped wearing diapers nearly two years ago." I have so much to smile about!
I woke up and went into the farmers market early. It's indoors but I enjoyed the walk outside from the bus stop. I made a few dollars between donations and bartering my barber services. It feels wonderful to be getting a project off of the ground and promoting what I love doing! I picked up a few extra hours at work and the time just flew! I had a lot of laughs at work today and we stocked up on coffee. I got home , managed to send a few texts and messages, daydream, catch up with friends about Valentine's gifts and have a few self care moments before I had to rush to geat ready to go out to a fabulous event earlier this evening. I got to dress up! It's been so long since I got to dress up for something other than to look professional for work. I know I don't need a *reason* for these things but Ijust haven't had much opportunity lately. I wore a little dress with stockings and strappy heels, my makeup was done in that smokey look to mirror the bluesy jazz music and my hair was curled and styled into what can only be compared to a 50's mens look. I love it! Jazz music, fine dining, dancing and great company, you just can't beat it. |
