My folks are coming up from FL for the summer, and should be here next Tuesday or Wednesday. Dad, being the smartass that he is, told me he expects everything to be spit-shined, and I better even have the gravel polished for him! Well, being my fathers daughter

what could be better than making sure at least part of the gravel on the parking pad is shiny when he gets here? I bought a spray can of polyurethane and have put several coats of it on a section of gravel he will have to walk over every single day. I think this is going to be one of those "he who laughs last laughs best" kind of things.
