Sitting here reading the last few posts and like Elusive, I'm cool with a femme telling me she has a crush on me

Even though I have a few crushes and admire many here, I usually just kick back and wait patiently
I'm at that age, if something is ever to get started, you should come a knocking
As bold as I am at times when writing, I'm kind of quiet in person until I get to know you

It's not that easy for some of us, honestly
Besides, whomever wants to be with me, must love rescued kitties
Finding good loving homes isn't easy or a quick find, so I continue to keep and love them

Right now the only plan I have going in my mind is getting out of OK and into AR
Hopefully everything else will fall into place afterwards

I think most of us are animal lovers. Why you going to Arizona?

I am thinking about building a great big giant outdoor atrium type of thing with little treehouses all inside for a big cat rescue. The shelters are turning them away now. I have some rescued cats now but the problem is i am allergic

but I make sure they get what they need and I will build something once I have the extra money.

I take allergy meds daily as I am allergic, too...I'll suffer a little, so they no longer have to run the streets scared
If you ever open a cat rescue, I'd be tempted to join in and help
Actually any kind of animal rescue as I'm good with animals of all kinds
Heck, I might even be inclined to look up a retired professor I know and ask him about that grant writing you asked about
He taught my ex how to write grants for a veterans project they were working on

Perhaps consider a few used mobile homes on your property to house your help and live independent of other help

I’ve been turned down for rescuing kitties, either because they are doggie lovers or just hate cats. I appreciate cats aren’t for everyone, at the same time, I cannot give up fostering (and adopting them if they are happy here and want to stay). I grew up with my family rescuing and adopting animals (for a few years we had 26 animals living with us that included 2 pigs, 1 sheep, 8 rabbits, 5 dogs and 6 cats!).

My 5 furbabies are recent adoptions in the last 4 years. Before that, I had a couple with the last one passing at 18 years in 2008.

K isn’t a cat lover, yet, she is willing to accept them and me for fostering them….it’s a compromise as I’m learning to yield a little to allow her to protect me (not sure if that’s the correct word), she’s not taking my independence away from me, but, wants to do things for me.

Wolfy, the lady you seek is out there waiting for your paths to cross….you will find each other eventually.

I rescued a starving cat outside of my condo a couple months ago. She's slowly gaining weight. I was going to find a home for her but one day I came home and she kissed me and I fell. She's mine now and her name is Baby.
