So I remember growing up and hearing this song in the background. Takes me back to helping my grandmother cook in the kitchen. As an adult, listening to it I realize how great the lyrics are.

I'm listening to a youtube playlist I have of the soundtrack music from the movie, "Gods and Generals" (prequel to the movie, "Gettysburg"), composed by Randy Edelman and John Frizzel. The music is truly beautiful and reminiscent of the Old South. These are just a few selections from that playlist.
