Doing it on a shoestring....
I'm smiling right now because I have exactly 160 dollars left to my name until 3 January and I'm trying to get movers with a truck to transport, load, and unload 6 pieces of furniture that are way too big to pile up in my convertible, lol.
(So good to be able to take the top down on that baby!) I just spoke to a guy who said he can do it for a buck fifty. He is going to call me back in about 45 minutes to give me a yea or nay. Oh my goodness, I am thiiiiiiiiiiiiis close. I need ONE more Christmas miracle to make the trifecta or I just don't know what, lol. Please keep your fingers crossed for me once again, good people! Your positive thoughts really do seem to help. And I love me some Craigslist, too, lol.

twas yesterday...
Driving through the countryside of upper SC...even in the rain it's so pretty...
My first glimpse of the mountains...wayy off in the distance as I got outside of Spartanburg... After coming through the rain, the clouds opened up and the sun peeked out to play on the mountains... Hugs from my friends... Jacques' going around sniffing at his old haunts... Walking down the streets of downtown Asheville...the only city I will ever love, besides Boston... Meeting kindred spirits that are (hopefully...I find out Wednesday) my future employers... Leaving the mountains behind, and knowing that it will be for the last time... <3 Coming back to a very happy princess kitten who wanted immediate snuggles... The sleep that only exhaustion can bring...
