Kätzchen is an term of endearment given to me by a very dear, long time friend (a butch, half way around the world, who identified as a Transgendered Butch).

My German nickname means: Kitten.

When I first got in the fire dept there were only 3 women out of 1000 firefighters.So when I would be at certain fire stations some would purposely not say firefighter but say fireMAN and enunciate louder the man part. They wanted me to get their message protesting woman being there.

Hence Firegal …That's kinda my protest. Ive had more than a few folks assume I wasn't a butch based on my name.

I have had this screen name for 20 something years. It is pretty self explanatory. I live in NH, I am male identified and own a truck for snow plowing our lengthy driveway. That double entendre was also intended back in the day.
