i confess to picking a giant grapefruit downtown by the harbour. while i was walking, i noticed an osprey carrying a meal to his family; the fish appeared to be flying underneath of the bird, and for a second i felt sorry for it was still alive.

I slept in, and chose instead to call out and spend our first Easter with Abby then go in late to work, and I don't feel guilty. I confess... I very much love blueberry muffins. I confess... I have always had to work Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, so I really don't feel bad about calling out. I rather get in trouble for calling out to spend time with my family, as opposed to calling out because I just "didn't want" to work or was hungover. I confess... I have no regrets, and the road was filled with potholes and pit stops and faith in some of the worst people ever, but my life, my "pursuit of happiness", has led me right where I belong. I have learned hard lessons and found out who will always be my support, so it was worth it. |
