A co-worker asked me out to lunch and surprised me by paying. I asked her not to - and she would not hear of it. Made me smile. Then she said, "well, you surprised me with that Yankee keychain.. so you know" and shrugged.

It was while I was out shopping with my Mom. We stopped at the Girls Scout cookie table - and those poor girls were out in the chilly weather trying to sell those cookies - so I bought 3 boxes (and I am not a sweet eater at all) and my Mom bought some...
So, I went and took a twenty out to pay .. and I hear the one little girl whisper to the other .. "ooooh it is a twenty.. look she has a twenty" It made me smile.. because it reminded me of a memory of when I was younger... I bought the cookies.. and then gave the change to their little "donation bucket" that was on the table as well... |

I have a lot of hair and at times it can over heat me, so I tend to twist it up in a clip. Well,today, I put it in a poofy pony tail. Wow, I was amazed how long my hair has gotten. That pony tail was long! I measured three and a half hand grips down. Yeah, I worked that swish of the tail today, lol

My client's dog...
He forgets me in the 2 weeks between visits.. He is a HUGE white shepherd...looks like a great Pyrenees...but I found him hiding in my mama's room. By the end of my 4 hour visit and several treats later, he remembered he liked me and even played a little. He's just such a gentle giant.. <3

I've been considering losing the beard I've been growing for two months. I've let it grow out sloppily before, or been lazy about shaving - but this time I sort of did it on purpose. I was thinking about getting rid of it, but today two people said almost the same thing, "it's trendy to have a beard now, but most people can't pull it off - your beard looks great on you" - hah!
