I'm thinking I will probably go with an open faced meatball sandwich with provolone, and maybe some pan seared asparagus and garlic. Have I mentioned how much I love asparagus? I understand how these things probably seem an odd pairing, but then I am quirky, so there you go.

Well...the other day I saw one of those McCormick spice packet things on sale...so I got it..
Then I had some chicken so I sprinkled it with the spices..mimced garlic and Italian seasoning...added fresh green pepper, fresh mushrooms, and a can of Italian diced tonatoes. Let that simmer. Boiled bowtie pasta with some fresh asparagus. Added a handful of fresh spinach tp the water in the last moments of cooking. Borrowed some pasta water to add to the sauce, then mixed and served with crushed red pepper and TJs 3 cheese blend... Twas nummy
