I packed my dinner for work: veggie "chicken" pattie on low carb bread with lettuce, Coleslaw, creamy mustard and sunflower seeds sprinkled on top, an apple, 2cheese sticks, mint water.

A friend and I went to the National Art Gallery and had a fine time wandering around. Then we went to a local eatery, had 15$ burgers ( they really are good and worth every penny), shared a pitcher of terrific "Beyond the Pale" IPA and spent the next 3 hours sharing a copy of the Sunday New York Times.....what a great Sunday.

My third night with the chipoltle Velveeta...

Last night I added veggie mix...okra corn and peppers...tonight I diced up turkey ham and mixed that in too...it was tasty and easy

Actually, I have ground beef thawed out, but couldn't decide what I wanted to cook so I will just grill a burger w/cheese, and have that with a salad and half of an avocado.

I had baked curly fries and a chipotle black bean burger on a multigrain sandwich thin with horseradish sauce, steak sauce, mixed sliced peppers, baby arugula and thin sliced provolone. Golden peach flavored water to drink.

I had a bite of each of these.....a meatball in marinara, an Italian sausage in same marinara, 2 bites of homemade lasagna, and a small piece of chicken piccata...OMG was that ever good!!!

I had 3 sugarsnap peas, 2 small carrots, and a celery stalk. I stayed within confines of my "diet" and I did not even touch the Italian crème birthday cake...

Went to a friend's "milestone" birthday party with 23 other sisters!!!!
