A Stray Word or Two
I wrote this on Sunday as I was mulling over my weekend and what had brought me to this point in my life.
The Journey Past In the shadows of the misty forest A warrior walked alone Every village visited Not one felt like home Battles were refought , balance was lost Karma brought him back to his intent Battle scarred and armor torn Friends found, healed and mended Strength regained, faith renewed A return to the journey Kindred found, colors were known Comfort of finding a home, balance returning |

This is where I came from.
Release Me Crucify me that I can feel my pain Set fire to me cleanse me of my sins Cut out my heart so I never bleed again Take my breath away keep foolish words from my lips Release me so the healing can begin FREE ME SO I CAN LIVE AGAIN |
