What is poop made of?

About 3/4 of your average turd is made of water. Of course, this value is highly variable - the water content of diarrhea is much higher, and the amount of water in poop that has been retained (voluntarily or otherwise) is lower. Water is absorbed out of fecal material as it passes through the intestine, so the longer a turd resides inside before emerging, the drier it will be.

Of the remaining portion of the turd, about 1/3 is composed of dead bacteria. These microcorpses come from the intestinal garden of microorganisms that assist us in the digestion of our food. Another 1/3 of the turd mass is made of stuff that we find indigestible, like cellulose, for instance. This indigestible material is called "fiber," and is useful in getting the turd to move along through the intestine, perhaps because it provides traction. The remaining portion of the turd is a mixture of fats such as cholesterol, inorganic salts like phosphates, live bacteria, dead cells and mucus from the lining of the intestine, and protein.

as my fingers itch to post an early morning Yap I am not sure how to choose which subject to heading to clutter up: 5 things no one knows, randon posting, or what's on yer mind...

most of what I am tempted to post would fit in any one...maybe I should set up my own rotation schedule and satisfy the itch in each one and then back again?

okay, so I have dulled myself into submission...meaning that I will stop now...

at one time in my life, and it's been a pretty Long life (thank goodness) so there have been Many Points, I had a 357 magnum...having it dictated that I learn to use it...one time I was at the range...unattactive ear protectors on, flat shoes, long dress---fitting in as much as I am *ever* able to fit and not looking (let me Promise you) in any way appealing, or interesting....I had the gun up, and ready, was squinting to see the damn target, one eye open the other one squinched closed ...what happens? I feel a hand, yes. a. hand. pulling at one of the earprotector cups...I froze and then I heard in the unprotected ear a male voice saying " if you make that bullseye, I'll f**k you"...ohhhhh the clevver and vicious responses which ran through my stunned mind...my self-protectiveness won out as I figured anyone who would say that to a woman with a frigging Gun in her hand, and at a place where everyone had a gun, wasn't someone to get (more) worked up...I just put my gun down...took the ear protectors off and said 'didn't you see I have a gun in my hand'....to which he replied yes, and then went on to tell me how he was an award winning target shooter, and an instructor, and who knows what else because the more he talked the more I kind of fell asleep and just counted the seconds 'till I could get out of there...

now, someone might think that I should have stood my ground and fought or who knows what else...and, that might be right for some poeple...for me, I have one steadfast goal: get out alive and with the least amount of injury...I met my goal...and it added yet one more, 'really??Really" story to my neverending supply of them !! :)

one more thing--what are the language rules here?---can I type fuck, or do I have to do something tricky like f**k?...while I don't want to offend, and I really don't since I just don't, I don't feel like I am using my authentic voice (how was *that* for a dramatic statement??) when I have replace a letter with an *....just askin' is all....

I am watching the Oprah with Pink on the ole DVR and I really didn't think I could like her any more than I did, but it's true. I think I've moved up in rank from 612th best fan of Pink to somewhere between 438th and 441st. She's so freakin' awesome. I can't wait til her next tour.
