Joy Today
My daughter just recently lost her job, and I knew she wasn't going to be able to pay her cell phone bill, so I told her I would make a trade with her, she could clean the house and I would pay her cell bill.
She cleaned it - half the house one day and the rest of the house yesterday - I tried to call her when I got home to tell her what a fabulous job she had done, but couldn't get her, so first thing this morning I woke up, gave her a and told her thank you and she asked me, "Mom, did you check your bedroom closet." And I hadn't, so I opened the door - she had completely reorganized all my clothes, matching all colors, blouses, dresses, skirts, and pants, long sleeves to short - It was soooooo cool!! I laughed and she laughed and we shared a moment of pure sweet joy with one another. I love her!!! |

Joy today was....
Shutting down my work computer! Enjoying the commute on the Blue Ridge Pkwy with all the colors...breathtaking.....a chiroprctor appointment...ahhhh...& now relaxing & reading posts...till something else comes up that I want to do....& planning my weekend YAY...a full one with friends, & good times, & a festival, & breakfast with friends, & tmr night going out to hear my friend's band play...yep....that's ALL bringing me joy....Happy Friday to ALL !!!!!

I've gotten heaps done around the house already....that always makes me feel good.....and the weather is nice....so I hung out laundry and I'm HOPING to grab a lil hike before work!
 That mostly hinges on my mama getting her old arse over here so we can go to the dump.....lol

It's only 10:15 in the morning but already I have had much joy. I've been in my apartment a week today, and this morning I'm sitting on the balcony having coffee and watching the neighborhood wake up. My left arm is hot from the sun.
