Of interest to feminists/ womens studies
http://www.womensworlds.ca/ I heard about this from a friend who is leading a faculty led study abroad group from VCU for this event. She pushed it and was able to set it up for credits. What an awesome experience for students in the ever expanding program! http://www.global.vcu.edu/abroad/pro...etail/p93.aspx |

Womens History Month
In honor of National Women’s History Month, Magnum presents a collection of images of women hard at work—paid or unpaid—in their respective fields inside and outside the home.

The Disposable Woman
This article starts out with a blurb about Charlie Sheen's interview with Piers Morgan, but becomes a very interesting statement on the "disposable" and/or "invisible" woman. Interesting and very disturbing article.
