May 5th, Saturday...Fernandina Beach,FLA. is 48th annual event. I have been to this and it is HUGE!!! There are over 300 vendors, and many food booths and the Pirates are always coming ashore, pillaging, music, and plain great fun!

Good morning all you SC peeps!

The Lowcountry Shrimp Festival was this weekend. I didn't make it down!
Lt. Dan Weekend was a couple weekends ago!
There is a huge fireworks show down on the beach here every Tuesday night!!
And in Myrtle Beach, Bike Week is going, not sure when that ends!
I am eager for James Island County Park to begin its annual Festival Of Lights!!! that will run through the First of the Year!!
Lots of shows, events all around the state...something for everyone!
Enjoy the day as I am enjoying my Island this day!

Timi, when we do get around to getting back down there (in a couple years prolly) we are either going to be in the Greenville, SC area or near Asheville, or even Knoxville. We will be sure to be neighborly....no worries
