Saw a few shows at the local ImageOut film festival, but this one stuck in my mind the most....
Two 4 One It was well done, dignified, lovable, and funny. I'd see it again if I could. What impressed me as well was meeting the writer/director after the show for Q & A. A lot of thought went into this movie. |

Loved this
Forbidden Love: The Unashamed Stories of Lesbian Lives
I was able to stream this last night and am so glad I did. I really like this movie and look forward to seeing it again. The dramatizations were intentionally campy and over the top, but the real-life stories of these Canadian lesbians were touching, heartbreaking, and sweet to me. And, there were some handsome old-school butches in it. Thanks to homeo and QueenOfSmirks for mentioning this film in the "Randrum Should See These Movies" thread. |

I watched a true and powerful film on HBO called 'A Normal Heart'.
It's about the AIDS crisis in NYC in the 80's...definitely NOT lighthearted, but very good. |

The Walk
Went to see this movie last weekend in imax 3D cinema.
Its about a french man who wants to tight rope walk from one of the twin towers to the other side without any safety wire. Such a great film. And even if you don't go and see it at an imax cinema, its a must see film. Its not a widely played film, but make the effort and you won't be disappointed. Thrilling but very human to. |

Have to admit I did have a couple of beads of sweat pop out on my forehead when Channing Tatum danced at Jada Pinket Smith's club Domina on Magic Mike XXL.
Oh, ok, one little shriek escaped my lips. The movie is not Shakespeare but it did have its moments... ...damn Andie McDowell is still looking awfully hot and so is Jada. The GF just shook her head at me.

When you get caught up. Literally. This documentary is... too far too touch, but close enough to feel. Great!

I saw Goosebumps. Because I wanted to and I adore Jack Black.
It was fun and true to Goosebumps. There was a mild twist in the middle and a bigger twist at the end. |

I caught the early bird show of Bridge of Spies, and loved it. Steven Spielberg ran me through the gamut of emotions, and even made my eyes leak. I have always been a fan of Tom Hanks, and I think he just gets better, each time I see him. The best part though, was a movie for under $7.00!

Steve Jobs (2015)
Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint a portrait of the man at its epicenter. Director: Danny Boyle Writers: Aaron Sorkin (screenplay), Walter Isaacson (book) Stars: Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2080374/ Danny Boyle's movies are always great. Michael Fassbender did an outstanding job portraying Jobs. Kate Winslet is fantastic in any role. Steve Jobs, the man himself? Two words: tortured genius.

Far From Heaven
Watched this film at the weekend.
Watched it mainly because Todd Haynes directed it. Heard it was beautifully shot, and wasn't disappointed. Julieanne moore is brilliant. Would say this film is great film to watch, but don't watch it if you arte feeling a bit down. Its not a feel good movie. |

Bridge of Spies
Directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks I have to admit I fell asleep during the first 30 minutes or so but then remained awake the rest of the movie and I found it interesting and quite absorbing. Afterward, the GF said: "That was a really long movie, I think it should have been maybe 1/2 hour or so shorter". She didn't know I had been sleeping Worth seeing. Tom Hanks is excellent in everything he is in. The GF thought it was good, too.
