No one did dance bigger or more grandiose in the movies than Busby Berkeley. He was genius in choreographing huge production numbers using hundreds of dancers and capturing elaborate syncopated sequences using crane and dolly shots. Here are a few samples of the most well-known Berkeley numbers from Gold Diggers 1933 and 1935, and a montage of various musical scenes. The clips take a couple of minutes to get into the height of the numbers, but if you're patient they are worth the watch. Enjoy.

Ann Miller
was known for being a fast tap dancer, her routines on film are classic and in the ranks of Astaire and Kelly.
She had an incredibly strong presence on screen, not just for her dancing.
This is a montage of clips of some of Ann Miller's best work set to music.
Ann Miller died in 2004. Enjoy the legend.

Almost everyone had to sing and dance under the studio system whether they liked it or not.
