Sydney Butch Femme Trans events?
I thought I would put this out there along the principle of "if you build it they will come".
And also hoping I might be able to lure out any other Sydney people.

Well, this wasn't very successful. No other Sydney people, and definitely no events

Hi Midnight
Thanks for that. I've tried the myspace site before but I don't think it has been active for ages. And I am already a member of the femme guild but they don't do a lot of organising.

I was in your city in July. I had a wonderful time,. Made a new friend ,played some golf, ate some great food, drank some interesting beers. I plan on coming back when its a little warmer there, so I can snorkle.

Perhaps you need to kick some butts in the society and be involved in organising some events

I've thought about, but I have friends who organise some high profile events & I've seen the effort and time they spend (Often for little real result) & not sure at the moment that I have the spoons for it. But I can't see it happening any other way.

The BFT is held at Hares and Hyenas here in Melb. which is a queer bookstore with coffeeshop. I've just attended my first meet with the betterhalf and they are a great group of people. Perhaps if you can find somewhere similar in Sydney (surely of all places Sydney would have these things!) and just organise coffee get togethers once a month. That shouldn't be overly hard to organise and you already have the contacts to invite through the guild. Just a thought
