What made me smile today? Two amazing friends, the first by just being there on the phone and listening to how bad treatment went and genuinely caring and listening to me.
The second well she is an ex before the ex that left to Australia and well she showed up out of nowhere to just sit with me and be there for me we spent some amazing quality time together and she's coming back a bit later. The point of my post is I am grateful for people caring! |

My car is fixed. Its been a while. It got fixed thanks to help, I could not afford it on my own and was given a loan by a family member because- I was told -I could be trusted to pay it back.
It wasnt allways that way, between me, and the loaner. Sometimes when bridges are burned, with time and consistency they can be rebuilt and that is nice.

A 4 legged, gray feline alarm clock who head butted, walked on me and meowed in my ear until i got up...thinking she wanted her breakfast - nope...she knows what day it is and thought her mommy was oversleeping and was going to be late for work...obviously she wasn't listening last night when i told her my plans for the rest of the week...LOL

So I'm at the grocery store buying a bag of Purina Dog Chow for my dog. While in the check out line, the woman behind me asked if I had a dog. Why else would I be buying dog chow, right? So on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Purina Diet again, and that I probably shouldn't because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a Perfect Diet and all you do is load your pockets with Purina Nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff a poodle's ass and a car hit me. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard. Better watch what you ask me and be prepared for my answer. Now that you've read this I have to confess, I copied it from someone else. Share and make someone else smile today.

I couldn't decide if it made me smile or crack up so I decided smiling is nicer.
I was driving home and noticed a car turn in front of me and it had writing on the window. You know, that white chalky looking stuff that people use.
