My gran died last week, she was to be 102 next month! I am at peace with her passing, she had a long life, and was so ready to join her husband, and family that went before.
What i am NOT at peace with is a dear friend passed last week. He and his wife and daughter were actually there for their wedding. They married on the 10th, then celebrated their daughters first birthday on the 13th, and on the 14th, an explosion ripped throught the lobby of the resort, killing him and others. Malcolm and Heather helped us buy our house, and remained our friends dear friends. I cannot come to peace with their life together ending this early, and this way. I cannot come to peace with their daughter never knowing her daddy.. I know tragic accidents make no sense, but this is just to awful for words.
Say a prayer if you will, for my grans journey, and for Malcolm and his family.

I am so sorry for your loss, and for theirs. My prayers are with you and with your friends and especially the little one, growing up a little girl without a daddy is hard...but thankfully, not impossible.
Covering her with prayer for protection for the rest of her life, and for the walk in this world that she will walk, that God would be in all of that for her, for Grans may she rest in peace, and for you, in Jesus name, amen.

Oh honey. I can't even imagine the horror that must have brought into your world. I'm so sorry for you for the loss of your friend, Malcolm.
Your gran, if she's anything like you, must have been an amazing woman.
Prayers for you and your honey as well. Love to you both.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I'd like to think that your gran will be there to take care of Malcolm and he her.
I wish many blessings on you and your friend's family, so that his daughter will grow up with the knowledge of how wonderful her dad was, how much she was/is loved, and who he was through her mom and you and other friends and relatives.
My condolences to you all. :rrose:

I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear Gran... she sounds like an amazing woman that had a great impact on not only your life, but all the lives she's touch. Keep your memories close to your heart and know that she is smiling down on all her loved ones.
It's times like these, when we start to question why bad things happen to good people. Truth is, we'll never truly know the answers. I just pray that peace, comfort & strength surround Malcolm's loved ones during this heartbreaking, difficult time.

My deepest sympathy for you and your family. Yes, the loss of your "Gran" is a lot easier than Malcom's death. This is so sad. I'm very sorry this happened.
