Just to quickly check in: earlier today, my mom called me. Then when she hung up, my phone died. I gathered up my purse and riding badge and went to the closest t-mobile kiosk and they took my phone apart and after tinkering around a bit, my phone was healed. THANK Heaven, *LOL*

I got back home in time to wait for my taxi ride to the doctor's office, but holiday traffic is soooooo bad, that my driver was an hour late. :|

But again, everything turned out okay. Doctor appt went well. I has new medicine to cure me of my icky sickness, and am now at my bff's house and hanging out with her family. :)

Will be a VERY relaxing weekend. Good food. Great company. Lots of TV. *LOL* :cheer:

I'm grilling cheesy metts, hotdogs and cheeseburgers. Wednesday, I grill some steaks and corn wrapped in bacon. It was yummy.

I love stacking the charcoal briquettes in a pyramid and the lighting and waiting till the coals are perfect.

I went to my first pool therapy PT session this morning and I am so grateful for my therapist. She is a senior PT doctor who will help to restore my ability to walk as independently as I can. I was very emotional during my first session, though. Not only did I become overwhelmed by tears, but I smiled to know that I could walk with my body in the water. It was a very nice first visit and I look forward to all my sessions during August. :rrose:

I went off on my lazy supervisor three times today. Glad I have until in the morning to "de-angry" myself. This little bastard really worked my last nerve today. I was so busy putting out fires, I only took a 15 minute lunch break. The second time he asked me to do administrative work for him on his behalf, I told him I am not his personal secretary and he was capable of taking care of his own personal business. I am really getting a huge resentment for this self-centered, selfish little fuck. What a spineless individual!

More and more, I am not liking male co-workers. There are only a few woman there and the good ole boys sure do take good care of the good ole boys.
