I think about my dad everyday. There's not a moment of happiness since he passed away that I haven't thought how amazing it would have been just to have him around. There's nothing I wouldn't do to have him back again, cherish those around you. Cancer ruins many lives, not just the direct person.

My youngest son, who moved out two weeks ago and is living life on his own terms. It's awfully quiet around the house nowadays but I don't mind. I worry some about him because I know him so well - his strengths and weaknesses and blind spots. But he's fully capable on his own. There is probably no better way to show my love for him than to let him stretch his wings and soar.
