Hey there.

I haven't been here in a long time. Even when I made this account in 2018 I wasn't active but I had a different account a long time ago. The forums were very active. There were lots. of people, lots of new posts. Where did everyone go?

Cashew i think i remember you..maybe going to Z for a girl??..i don't remember that part exactly...what was your name before you changed it???? Love the idea of New Zealand but do they not have gay women there??? If so doesn't seem sustainable unless you want to broaden your horizon to include the 'other'..as for what happened here, some people got busy, some people have short attention spans and the forum had too many distractions, some just love trendy stuff...and an insane amount of new venues opened to choose - ie instagram, facebook snapchat & Tik Tok etc. but there are still a few of us prefer this forum...different strokes for different folks..also many of us have passed r.i.p

No, I didn’t move here for a relationship. I moved here to escape the United States because I want my daughter to have bodily autonomy. I emigrated with my husband and daughter. We are all Americans. I did not think Orange Hitler would be the president again but I saw the direction things were going in and I don’t like it. I was lucky to get a job and permanent residence. Thank god I am here.

There are gay women here, of course. I just don’t know any of them. I don’t really know how meet a queer community here. I’ve seen get togethers for gay men not women. It’s fine but it would be cool to have a butch femme circle. We look like a straight couples because my husband is trans.

It seems odd it is so very quiet here. I did find a butch femme Facebook group for New Zealand. Maybe people have moved on to different media and away from this forum.

hmmm i didn't know you were femme!...So good thing the both of you aren't here as the current government is making it extremely hard on Trans folk...it's very hard to watch...as for Z land...always imagined it to be Amazing! Want to visit someday and study & understand the Maori culture. It seems like their culture is disappearing like the Hawaiian, becoming diluted and i imagine within the next 50 years, they may not even exist as an ethnicity..we'll have vanished too...i hope you come for a visit....once the current presidency leaves ...i'm trying to remember what Z land is known for??? something amazing, no doubt!
