I'm not going to quote the whole article, Greyson, but one line struck me.....

Bussee said that he didn't feel it was cool to be homophobic any longer....

Oh dear. When did he say THAT? Because I feel ~ to the religious right, at least ~ they feel it IS 'cool' to be homophobic.

And that mindset is now (and has been) filtering into the rhetoric of the GOP's platform, as there are portions of their 2010 "agenda" which states (paraphrased) that homosexuality should be punishable by jail.....that marriage should only take place between a "natural man and a natural woman".....and that anyone who performs a marriage of anyone else should also be thrown in jail.

Now THIS ~ in 2010 ~ is disgusting AND scary to me.
