You can have more than one. Everyone that is brought into your life is there for a reason. There is something for you to learn from them and vice versa. When that is done, things change, and you part ways. There are cases, though, that the lessons that were supposed to be learned are NOT learned, and though you've parted ways, you keep re-entering each other's lives.
