~*~ When I was in my 20s and people would ask "so where are you from" I would lie and tell them "London." I explained away my Alabama accent by telling them that my family moved us "back home" when I was 8.

~*~ I can tie a cherry stem in knot with my tongue-twice, sometimes three times.

~*~ I was once on the cover of a magazine.

~*~ In the year 2000, I was the "Volunteer of the Year" for the Alabama chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

~*~ I am terrified of scary movies and cannot watch them/sleep alone after seeing a new one. BUT any old fave like "13 Ghosts" or "Nightmare on Elm Street" will lull me to sleep in minutes if I let it.
