Why do we have to put a floppy disk in a hard drive?

Why do they always schedule an All Staff meeting on the first Tuesday of every month and so early in the morning when most of us have so far to drive? Also, will THIS All Staff FINALLY have anything actually IMPORTANT and worth while? Or are they gonna blow a bunch of hot air again with more worthless crap that makes us spin our wheels (going nowhere) for the next 6 months again? Why can't they do something different for a change? Why can't they actually be productive for a change?
