Got in a good workout today, weighed myself & apparently it says I've gained a couple pounds this week but I think its just me gaining muscle

Had a small personal victory last night - instead of having chips/cookies/chocolate etc for snack last night I had a bowl of baby carrots & a greek yogurt veggie dip yummyyyyyyy

SUCCESS!

Its small but gotta start somewhere

Had my first workout for the week and it felt good; the scale says I've lost 2 lbs *YAY*

Its the small successes that mean the most, and for me that was a victory in itself

I am tired of thinking about food, calories and the scale. I have lost 23lbs. I worked ALL SUMMER for this. Can't say I want junk food or processed food, but I sure am sick of it. now what?

Enjoy where you're at, pat yourself on the back for a great accomplishment, and eat what you want since it isn't junk food or processed food. Then keep on keeping on!

Miss this thread and I miss Jo!

Walking lots more at my new job. Very tiring but helping to lose weight. Had a harder time eating healthfully at the job this week.

They served lunch the first 4 days and none of it was what I would ordinarily eat. I was having to do things like pick the chicken out of a chicken fettuccine! Yuck.

It will be good to get back to bringing my own lunch.

I have lost 13 pounds in the last 2 months.

There is a gym a few doors down from my building and they do have a discount for employees. I might look into joining as I can tell I will need some additional stamina for this job.

Hope everyone is doing well, even if you are not posting.

I have a gym membership to a 24 hour place, but I just haven't had the energy to go....followed by a bunch of other excuses. However, I did start to eat better a couple of months ago and I've lost 10lbs just from that, which I personally think is fantastic.

While at the reunion, I put that to the side and gained about 4lbs but have shed 3 of those since I came back, so I'm still in the negative. Wee.

I do plan, now that I actually have another person working my store, that I will get

1. days off
2. more time on my days off to devote to my pursuits instead of frantic errand running
