Watching the kidlette, although s/hes 16 now s/he'll always be my kidlette sleep and toss and turn while I make subtle noises to awaken said kidlette.

S/he was up till 4, and my vacation churns on, I think I'll wake the kid up, I'm not getting any younger lol

Our cat, Sammie. My honey bought a (me....duly noted...) laser. That cat & I play several times a day with it. It always cracks me up playing with her. I put it on her feet..she picks her foot up robotic like, and tries to eat the laser light off her foot. OR she will rum & jump on highest level of tower..and play with me there,too!!

Opening the door to find 3 of my daughters pals calling for her, they were dripping wet as we had had a sudden heavy shower, bless them. She wasnt back home yet but I asked them in anyway out of the rain and made them hot chocolate. The seemed glad to have somewhere to hang out for a while. I remember those long school holidays when it rained all the time......boring !

I little boy that I have grown deeply attached to, who is nonverbal and lives with Autism will be starting school this year. Something his parents where unsure would happen this year. The light in their eyes and the knowing that he will now start to get the much needed additional supports had me grinning ear to ear.

I took grens sister-in-law to get her license today. She is 25 and has never had a license before...watching her get out of my car after her road test and the smile on her face was a smile creator for sure.

I needed to hear and witness good news this week.

I had a wonderful phone call yesterday with my academic advisor. She really should be a life coach or some such vocation. I am really pleased that I chose the school that I did. I think this going to be a wonderful experience.

Also, a phone call with a very good friend. She made me smile and realize things are only temporary.

Finally, I could not sleep last night so I wandered into chat. Everyone in there was so cool and they made me smile and laugh as well. Especially with the words of encouragement - it is nice to know when we struggle we are not alone.

All smile worthy.
