Distance doesn't mean anything, Tru. Gas stations will charge as much as they can and as much as people will pay. Two miles down the road has a very different type of neighborhood than block A or block B. If the station is in a really good location, they can really push the prices up there too.

I have two stations that are exactly across the street from one another. One charges more than the other all of the time. Why? Because even though the other one is cheaper and full service for no additional charge, it's a pain in the but to get in out and of that lot.

Good prices and full service? We haven't had full service in my neck of the woods in years. Lucky you.

I like the station. It's a lil ole Italian guy that plays opera over the loudspeaker. It's just a pain to get in and out of. It's close to a major intersection and I go the opposite direction so it makes for some hold your breath moments and barreling out into traffic with the slightest gap.

I won't do it in my car unless I'm going north on that road, but I like to use it when I have the cargo truck from work. People tend to get out of my way more when they know they can be crushed like an ant.

$2.25 (and dropping) here. BUT I suspect in a couple weeks, will go back up for the Labor Day crowds!
