2.599 as of yesterday in west-central Wisconsin. It was $26 something for a bit over ten gallons of gas. Not too shabby after having lived through years where $4 a gallon is commonplace.

(Of course, compared to other first-world nations, even $4 a gallon is a pretty good price.)

We are still seeing higher gas prices here, with regular gas 3.35 a gallon at the cheapest place in town.
