Last night I had a lovely salad with romaine hearts, fat free mozz, chopped walnuts and pear vinaigrette. It's a fave of mine!

I also had a small helping of whole wheat rotini with mixed peppers and a sprinkle of authentic Mexican cheese on top.

Nom. Nom. Nom.

Tonight, I think it will be ground turkey with sauteed peppers and more cheese, because I'm part mouse.

I'm going to be having baked chicken breast with a raspberry/chipotle sauce, saffron rice and a lovely tossed salad.

Grilling for Mom, she loves chicken wings, so it is chicken wings, hamburgers and shrimp. Baked beans and slaw. Pretty simple stuff, course Mom is a simple salt of the earth woman.

A stir fry with zucchini, carrots & red onions over brown rice and a slice of whole grain wheat toast. Fabulous!

Just got home from an Astros game (we won against the Padres in 11 innings, whoo hoo)
I had a Cincinnati dog - beef frankfurter with chili, cheese, onions and spicy mustard and some kettle corn.

Took mom to red lobster for dinner... she had lobster tail, scallops and shrimp.. I had a lobster. yummy

My wonderful friends invited me and the boy over for a last minute cook out. They grilled fish for fish tacos, made homemade white sauce, platanos fritos, pico de gallo, and mojitos. Then we roasted marshmallows at the bonfire and made smores.

I have the best friends.

I *may* be horror-monal.

Ground turkey crumbles with mushrooms and mixed peppers, caramel corn rice cakes, salsa and chips, trail mix, orange glazed fresh green beans and cran-peach water.

Tonight's dinner is going to be breakfast. I'm going to have a smorgasbord of cereal. I don't know exactly what I'll choose at that time, but I have Kashi's Black Currants and Walnuts, Raisin Bran, Pops, and Frosted Flakes to choose from.

My neighbor made a huge pan of homemade classic lasagna.

I can smell it now. I am so ready to just eat the entire pan of it. I haven't had lasagna in years like this.

pretty soon you'll be picking and cooking from that raised bed! Nothing better then home grown tomatoes.
