Hi! Joined yesterday so am trying to learn to navigate around the site.

Right now I'm sitting in my window seat with my dog ( D'Artagon , Dar for short) trying to figure out the forum layout and also replying to stuff on facebook.

There are bird feeders right out the window so happily watching the flock eat breakfast.

I'm watching "48 Hours" and wondering why these people allow themselves to be put on display on tv/video. Is it 15 minutes of fame to be charged with First Degree Murder on tv? Are they paid more if their crimes were particularly violent? Do they get a copy of the video as a keepsake? Viewers want to know.

Watching the snow fall and being transported back in time...as usual, the first snow brings back fond memories of trips with my parents sledding...mom would bring hot cocoa and dad would gather the entertubes... my brother and I stuffed into our moon boots and suits ...good times

Drove three hours in the rain to pick up mother for Thanksgiving. Prepped the food and watched old movies with mom (that is the best). Now she is tucked in her room while the kitties and I are chilling out in my room to rest before the big event tomorrow.
