Green salad with lemon juice, tomato spinach and vegetables pasta style sauce, home made, put on mung bean thread noodles.
Desert was baked rubarb and coconut sugar sprinkled on top. Tomorrow, Xmas dinner is baked ham, roasted yams, green salad.  I love ham. I get meat so very rarely, it's a real treat.

Tonight or late afternoon I'm having a honey glazed spiral cut ham, slow smoked brisket, homemade mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, a big bacon Cesar salad, dinner rolls and steamed broccoli, candy yams for dessert I have apple pie, banana bread, or cupcakes and lots of ice cream

We aren't doing the traditional Christmas feast. My son and I with a few friends are going fish and sea food, there will be fried cat fish ,oysters on the half shell, blue crabs. The side dishes will be dirty rice , greens with ham hocks, candied yams a long with baked sweet potatoes, someone is bringing a surprise dish, lots of dinner rolls. I know there will be lots to take home or maybe not who knows. Deserts will be a lemon pie, apple cobbler, and home made dream puffs. New yeas resolution a bit early...I swear not to do a carb over load .

We ate Christmas dinner early. I grilled porterhouse steaks, lobster, asparagus, baked potatoes, and a white onion. Mom added English peas and rolls.

pork and beans with shredded pork in them, potato salad ( both from deli)
little grape tomatos, two milks 3 of the little plastic containers of cherry jello, another milk with saltines crushed in it, half a jar of olives about 10 kumquats why is it every time I think or say the word "kumquat" my mind goes to a devilishly delicious dirty sexual place? Does this happen to any of you, I wonder?? I mean every. single.freaking.time. ... it is back now since I told you I ate 10 of them. |

Tonight I will have a chicken & artichoke wrap with feta, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, lettuce and Greek dressing. Also a small Greek salad, all from one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants.

You really need to try "those things." They look like an oblong orange about the size of a grape tomato. Just wash them off and pop them in your mouth ... you eat the entire thing. Oh so tasty ... both sweet and tart.
Get some ... bet you will really like them! and yes, my mind just went all juicey again ... my face is right there in it ...
