Which Candidate is for Me? A survey

Great survey Virago! thank you for posting it.
It was so cool to have a tool to know which Candidate is more for the things I value.

I got Bernie Sanders 96%
Clinton 95%
O'Malley 80%
I did the indepth and asked for more questions in each category, thanks BTTYS for posting about the slider

Mine are a bit of a surprise, because I strongly support Bernie Sanders and plan to caucus (Nevada caucuses in Feb. 2016) for him in the primaries and vote (and support) him all the way to the White House!!! In the, hopefully unlikely, event he does not win the Democratic Primaries, I will shift my support to Hillary Clinton (grudgingly, because I detest her connection to Big Business and Wall St).......and only because I don't want a Republican (clown) in the office of the POTUS.

Hillary Clinton 89%
Bernie Sanders 88%
Martin O'Malley 66%

(the rest of the pool is < 50% and Republican)

I got 99% Bernie and echo the reasons theoddz posted as to why I am not pro Hillary but will vote for her over the Republican candidates.

This site makes it easy for people to check what their state's requirements are!

I see that many on this thread are Bernie Sander's supporters. Many states are requiring one to officially identify as a Democrat if you are voting for Bernie Sanders.
For instance:
Alabama can vote for Bernie Sanders regardless of their designated party.

Alaska has closed caucuses.
Alaskans must register as democrat to vote for Bernie! However, you can register and/or change your affiliation the day of the caucus.

Arizona has closed primaries.
Arizonans must register as democrat to vote for Bernie!
This is for the Presidential Preference Election which takes place before the primary on August 30.

California has semi-closed primaries.
Californians must register as democrat or undeclared to vote for Bernie!

Wont vote for Clinton but at one time I would have just cause
she would be the first woman president but Im not going to stoop down that far

I got 99% on both Clinton and Sanders without doing the sliders or extra questions.

I am voting for Clinton because I think she is by far and away the most qualified to be president of the United States. In some ways Sanders ideas might be closer in tune to mine, but I don't think he would be nearly as good a president as Clinton and don't think think he can get elected. If he did, I question whether he would actually be able to govern effectively. The obstructionist Republicans will go after Hillary with all of their might too, but she will be much better prepared.

Also, "revolutions" don't start from the top down. I do hope grassroots support for some of Sanders' ideas continues to grow no matter what the outcome of the election is.

I also sense a huge dose of sexism in how Hillary is being treated in this election. No surprise there.

I wrote a very long post about this, but since I had already written my views, I didn't post it. Bull Dog, you hit my main points exactly and concisely! I wish I had those 45 minutes back of the long post I never even posted!

I did not take the survey. I have known for twenty years who I want for President.

I will vote for Hillary Clinton.

I want a woman president. I want a woman president. I WANT A WOMAN PRESIDENT!!!

Beyond that I respect and admire her and feel she will make a good president. (though I wish she were less of a hawk.)

Because this sites member are largely somewhere along the spectrum of female, I thought there would be widespread support for Hillary. I am shocked, actually, by the number of Bernie supporters who have responded. I am old. I have waited all my life for a woman president. If Hillary is not elected, I may not live to see a woman elected. For the most of the rest of y'all who are lots younger, I guess the issue is less pressing, because you have more life left, and you can afford to wait.

But HELL, B-Fers! aren't you tired of waiting? Aren't you tired of watching less qualified and overly egotistical males get elected when there are well qualified women who do not even get nominated, encouraged or backed financially? Well I'm tired of waiting. I want a woman President NOW... THIS time around.

I do like his Bernie's politics, but I do not think a Socialist can get elected in the USA. Though he caucuses with the Dems, he is not one. I am a dyed in the wool, lifelong Democrat (since age 8 - really!), and I want a Democrat to be elected. I somewhat resent that he didn't run as a Socialist or Independent. If you believe in it, Run on it.

Anyway, just my two cents worth. Glad everyone is interested in the election. Go vote!!!
