Lunch: What's on the menu?

I found these neat chicken spinach feta sausages at the store...also bought some fresh mushrooms..

I got home and sauteed said sausage and mushrooms with butter and olive oil...added frozen pepper blend and frozen broccoli and cauliflower...then added one of those Knorr sides...the creamy garlic shells kind.

A sprinkle of parmesan and crushed red pepper sealed the deal

I am having an Italian Sub with chips and pickle spears.

I went to Trader Joes hungry....bad idea...

BUT

I found these wonderful stuffed peppers in their "deli". Red bell peppers stuffed with turkey and rice and some veggies...

I found this olive baguette while I was shopping. It came home with me and I warmed some up and had it with the pepper....the bread was awesome sauce

I ate a "luncheon meat" sandwich. I'm afraid to look in a mirror cause I probably glow from the nitrates and probably wont pee for a week.

I had a gluten-free English muffin with, I suppose it was margarine/but could have been a blended spread, and two of those individual serving size portion cups of some non-Smuckers off brand strawberry jam that tasted more like strawberry jelly from a Styrofoam bad for the environment carry out container. Looks, taste, smell, visual appeal wise – this was just a complete and total train wreck of a meal. Basically it beat meals I’ve seen prison inmates eat but didn’t come even close to looking half as good as some of the food I’ve seen people in jail buy from the canteen.

On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the highest I give this meal a three because as a way of saying thanks for screwing up my order yesterday the restaurant gifted it to me and free always helps soften the blow of disappointment, plus I didn’t have to cook, or do dishes and I got to eat it today fresh from the microwave in the comforts of my own living room as opposed to someplace far less safe, calm, clean, comfortable, tranquil and serene like say in the middle of some war torn street in Syria with bombs bursting in air all around.

I am having leftover bbq sausage, asparagus, green beans, and potato salad. Cookies for dessert.
