A dear friend that I used to work with back in the late 90's sent me a picture on FB of a building from my hometown that holds many fond memories...and he knew how much that small gesture means to me. It was like getting a warm hug from back home. He went out of his way to take that picture for me; he lives over an hour away. No wonder we've been close friends since the day we met. We have always respected each other and made sure the other knew how important they are.

Finally resolving the issue that I dealt with all day yesterday. I still maintain that the clown I was trying to deal with yesterday is a jackass, but at least I got to deal with someone else this morning and it didn't take us all day to get to the bottom of it.

Today I had the first citrus I've had since moving away from S. Cal in the late 90's that wasn't sour. It wasn't the same good thing as just walking out your back door to pick tree ripened, sweetened in the sun fruit but today these cutie halo things whatever they are were pretty darn good, good enough to bring back memories of happy times spent living in the Golden State.

I hooked up with a childhood friend. We lost contact in 1980. We had a 4 1/2 hr conversation, catching up. She is a year younger than me and we only got up to about age 30 or so. So we decided we'd finish our conversation in the mountains in a few weeks.

I just found today that we have a cable channel called MeTV. All old shows all the time. Watched/listened to Laverne & Shirley, Perry Mason, The Twilight Zone, Rockford Files and Kojak is on now.

Twas last night...
Bluegrass was awesome...they played some Irish tunes Met many people since I brought the dogs...people respond so well to Yoda and understand that he needs special treatment sometimes  Heard a trio of very talented brothers play at the jam...the future of bluegrass is very secure... Had a lovely talk with a lady who turned out to be formerly from Massachusetts! She has a son with Asperger's and he lives independently...in China! She told me about a good college for my nephew who also has Asperger's. And its in Vermont. Same lady also told me that the coffee shop we were at had good chai. I've been disappointed with the chai here lately. But I tried theirs and is AWESOME... Same lady told me about a farm that's hiring...and also hires in exchange for riding...which isall my daughter really wants... It was just a really awesome night

Some drunk fool rear ended me and then hit 3 other cars in his haste to hit and run. Some kind person chased him and got his license plate and waited til the cops came and gave the info and her contact info as a witness. The cop looked up the plate and gave me his insurance info and I started a claim immediately. Thank you universe for lookin out for me.
