Oh Linus, if you only knew!

They actually suggested last night at 3am when I was the ONLY person on the site and got a "dropped connection" that we needed to upgrade to a DEDICATED SERVER to "handle the number of queries".

So yes, I hear you. Loud and clear!

As far as the list:

List
1.Financials Page - (this might be ugly for a bit but as long as its accurate, right?) ** DONE
2. Youtube embedding **DONE
3. Banners for Subscription Users **IN PROGRESS
4. More smilies

I have a friend who hosted their blog (a blog no less with far less complexity than a forum) on GoDaddy and it sucked even for that! Anyways, if you need help or ideas, just ping me.

ETA: I forgot.. who are the mods? (so I know who not to really piss off) do they have special moddy kind of badges or other identifying thingies/widgets/whatzzits (you know those technical terms)?

How come it is....that I can't friend some folks while others I can? Is it a setting at their end? The only similarity I see is that they have not posted yet. Could this be the clue-by-4 that I need?

Hmm.

This one is interesting. You should be able to friend any user here. Can you give me an example of a username you can't friend?

Hi Jet!

(I just realized that I hadn't answered your pm yesterda, forgive my flakery there!)

I just flipped the switch and you should be able to delete your photo now. Just let me know if you check it and there is anything not working!

I am definitely going to be hitting you up rather shortly to bounce some ideas around and get your input on some different options!

As far as mods, we will be making a formal announcement some time in the next few days, but informally:

We have 3 mods.

Dreadgeek, aka AJ, is our head moderator. June is also a moderator. We have a 3rd moderator as well, I just need to verify with that person that they want to moderate under their member name.

Chat is moderated by Scorp.

And I think you will see that we really *do* have some amazing moderators

I have been trying to figure out for months now how people add comments to my "Thanked Post" page. Most people do not add comments, but there are some members who do...

HOW DO THEY DO THAT???

I used one of blackboot's posts for a trial run and I may have reported hys "birthday wishes" post. Sorry about that. How can I add the little tiny words to my "thanks"?

I know, I know!!!! (I asked the same thing)

Look at the bottom left hand area under your username and stats? these three little icon thingys? the middle one? click it!!! a weetle box pops up and you can add comments!!!

HAHAHAHA Niiiice, reporting blackboot's birthday. LOL If you comment and then thank, you can do both. If you thank first, you can't comment. Look for the scales not the exclamation.

It's in the middle.

when I play majjoing solitaire, it blacks out at the end and I never get to see my score, let alone record it. Is it my computer or something in the system with my computer that is causing this? help please?

I just tested it and it worked fine for me - Have you heard of anyone else having this issue?
