I just couldn't get into the Burberry Weekend cologne, I don't know why though, most folks thought it smelt okay on me but I didn't. I guess I am very picky on the smells from my nose and not other people's noses.

I have now gotten rid of the CK euphoria intense, I only wear my acqua di Gio by Armani or stetson caliber but I mainly use body sprays when I don't use cologne.

It all depends on the time of year and what the occasion but these are My contenders.... and if people blink rapidly or cough politely around you ... EASE up ... use soap and water first....

Yes.. A mild bar of soap and water go a long way...
But of course I wanted the fruity and smokey Aventus by Creed for $210.00. What I actually purchased was a decent clone called Club de Nuit Intense Man for $27.50.

I love good smelling colognes and I have to admit that my cologne locker stays well stocked with a variety of great scents. I prefer the "fresh" scents to the heavier musks.

Currently, the scents I use most often are as follows:

1. Givenchy - Gentlemen Only
2. Yves St. Laurent - L’Homme Libre
3. Christian Dior - Farenheit
4. John Varvatos - Vintage
5. Sean Jean - Unforgiveable
6. Geoffrey Bean - Gray Flannel (an OLD favorite of mine for years)
7. Christopher Wicke - English Laundry Oxford Blue
8. Armani - Code

I am very, very careful to not overapply any of these scents. Being an asthmatic, myself, going "light" is much more effective and allows these scents to mix with my natural pheromones to produce a much more "individual" smell to them.

My dad used to wear Gray Flannel, its a nice scent.

I found that I like Blue De Chanel for men, but it's pretty pricey and I don't always use cologne every day.

I have three go-to colognes, so I can always wear the one preferred by the femme I'm seeing.

1. Pasha by Cartier (French)
2. Melograno by Santa Maria Novella (Italian)
3. Molecule 01 (German)

The Molecule 01 is the weirdest but coolest. It has one molecule of fragrance that attaches to your body chemistry, and people either cannot smell it all or they will follow you for miles just to ask what it is. If people tell you you have a nice, natural scent, get some of this. It's like attaching a Marshall amp to your iPod dock--it amplifies one's essence beautifully.

Pasha by Cartier is a classic men's fragrance. It balances aromatics, rich herbs and spices with woodsy notes to create a balanced fragrance perfect for hot date nights when you want to make a lasting impression.

Melograno is from the oldest pharmacy/perfumer in Florence, Italy (circa 1612). If you saw the movie, "Hannibal," this was the perfumery he went to for a special blend of lotion he wanted to give Clarise Starling. Though melograno means pomegranate in Italian, it smells nothing like that or any fruit. It smells like something a king or aristocrat or 007 would wear--but words like powdery or musky do not do it justice.
I once took the liberty of spraying it on one of my wife pleaser undershirts and tucking it inside the luggage of a visiting femme, just before she left.
She loved it so much, now she wears it.
I felt like I had Cyrano DeBergerac'd myself with that move.
